Mid Season Records

We are 6 weeks in which means we are about halfway into the season and I just want to give you a little update on my situation with my different leagues.  Sure, you might think that since I have my own blog I must be some sort of fantasy football guru and that is partly true.   However, I must admit that I am not undefeated in any of my leagues and I am in quite a hole in a league that I have 2 years in a row.  Let’s run through them all.
Dynasty League  (10 team league)
Record 5-1
I have the most points scored in this league and I am first overall but I could easily be 4-2 if Chris Johnson didn’t score a meaningless 30 yard touchdown at the end of the game.  I literally went to bed with about 4 minutes left and I was down by about 7 points.  I wake up with 3 text message from my opponent ranting and raving about how much he hates Jeff Fischer and thinks that I have a deal with the devil.  Am I don’t blame him.  Last year in the championship game, I was tied 164-164 during the final minutes of the Bears/Vikings game on Monday night.  My opponent had Adrian Peterson catch a ball over the middle and then fumbled. So basically for a brief moment I had lost the championship and then Peterson fumbled it away with a -2 for fumbling the ball.  The very next play Cutler went deep to Aromadaadadanda or however you spell it and I won the game.  Lots of luck.  I am not too worried about this league as my core players are Chris Johnson, Peyton, Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne.

Classic League (10 teams)
4-2
Despite my 4-2 record I am far more dominant than my record shows.  I have the most points scored but I am in second place overall to my buddy who is 6-0.  However we have not played against each other and I can guarantee I beat him in week 10 when we play each other.  He has had some luck but for the most part he has a good team.  I have a few trades up my sleeve that I may pull off that will lead my team to a championship. My core of Wayne, Nicks, Foster and Manning is truly carrying my team.

16 Team League
Record 3-3
Being a .500 team isn’t actually a bad thing in a 16 team league.  My team is solid and I am about 7th in points scored which has me encourage.  I have lost to the 2 best teams so I won’t have to face them again.  I play some weak teams starting this week and I should be 7-3 by week 10.   Brady, Moss, and Bradshaw are my key contributors.

Keeper League 12 teams
Record ?
If I were to tell you that I have Peyton, Wayne, Moss, Marshall, Chris Johnson, LT , and Jason Witten, what would you think my record is?  Let me tell you that I have the 3rdmost points scored.  Guess again.  I am 1-5 and am sitting in 11th in my league.  Fortunately for me this league allows 7 teams into the playoffs so a 6-7 record should get me into the playoffs.   I have the players to do it but I need some players to set up.  I have the most points scored against so that is basically why I am sitting in last by I have to believe that this crap won’t continue and it starts this weekend.  If I win my next 2 games I will be 3-5 and sitting at about 8th place with 5 weeks left and the best team (on paper) in the league.
