Start Them or Sit Them: Week 6

Some of you may be thinking that I quit this whole blog thing. Some might be thinking I can’t hack it.  This is not the case.  I am just simply trying to recover while finding an excuse to tell you why I told you to bench Malcolm Floyd.  I mean how does one man week in and week out somehow make me look like a fool?
Quarterback
Start:  Matt Ryan had a borderline poor week, however he got most people 12 points this week which is okay because he didn’t bomb out.  This week start the most disgusting man on the face of the planet, Ben Roethlisberger.  If your morals won’t let you, fine.  But this guy had been raring to go and I think he will connect early and often with his stellar wide receivers.
Sit:  Donovan is 3-2, in first place in the NFC East and I don’t know if there is any other Eagles fan that is happier than I am.  DMAC is doing exactly what I said he would do.  Win games for the Skins.  It hasn’t been pretty, but wins are wins.  This week bench Matt Cassell against the Texans.  No way he throws more than 150 yards.
Running Back
Start:  Felix Jones is now officially the playmaking RB the Cowboys needed.  I hope he doesn’t stay healthy though as I am a Kelly green blooded Eagles fan.  Ronnie Brown will be able to slice up the Packers who will have many key run stoppers out of the game.  Green Bay’s D-lineman are be dropped like wet bars of soap.
Sit:  How is Cedric Benson still relevant? Still hate him.  Now I know what I am about to say his ridiculous but trust me when I tell you this.  Michael Turner will not run for more than 60 yards. Take that to the bank. Inside sources tell me that he won’t be able to do much against the Birds.
Wide Receiver
Start:  Hines Ward has been patient and now he shall receive…9 catches for 70 yards.  Ben will find the trusty old vet open across the middle and on the short outs.  The points are bound to accumulate for Ward.  Maclin was a solid contributor this weekend but I wonder if Kolb will be able to throw a pass with his O-LINE looking like a $2 pasta strainer.
Sit:  With the arrival of Santanio Holmes, Braylon Edwards’ production is bound to go down.  With that said, bench Braylon unless you are desperate.  He is still useful but I just don’t see him getting as many targets with Holmes, LT, and Keller on the field.
Tight End
Start:   Shaincoe is going to be open this week against the Cowgirls.  The Cowgirls have a terrible defense and I suspect the middle of the field will be wide open.  With teams paying more attention to Moss, Shaincoe could benefit from it.
Sit:  I asked you to sit Boss last week and I was right.  This week I want you to sit Zach Miller.  I know he is on a ridiculous pace but I think that will get halted this week.  Not for any other reason than just the fact that teams are aware of him now.
